Start with a question
Set inputs and constraints, choose a built-in or qualified experiment, and capture what really happened.
Good research doesn't stop at an answer. It asks what happened, how we know, and whether we can prove it again. Solithra is building CFLab to make experiments, observations, and evidence easier to explore.
The live site test is a limited browser experiment. The full CFLab research engine is not publicly available.

CFLab is experimental scientific software. It combines controlled experiments, interchangeable observation lenses, and recorded evidence in one extensible environment.
Set inputs and constraints, choose a built-in or qualified experiment, and capture what really happened.
Look through multiple lenses without silently changing the underlying experiment or its original evidence.
Preserve settings, outputs, and provenance so a result can be revisited, compared, and checked by others.
The goal is to make the scientific process accessible to people who know their research even if they don't know how to write software.
Start with a research question and a defined objective.
Open the Live Website Observatory ↗Start with an approved experiment and a clearly defined objective.
Define parameters, baseline comparisons, and what would count as evidence.
Explore what the same recorded events reveal in different representations.
Inspect limitations, compare runs, and retain evidence for independent verification.
A lens changes how researchers examine the result. It does not turn an observation into a fact or change the underlying scientific record.
CFLab's architecture separates the experiment, lenses, and scientific record. That means new domains can use shared infrastructure while retaining their own methods and controls.
Our focus is not simply generating impressive-looking results. It's verifying that CFLab can run a controlled workflow, preserve scientific evidence, and reproduce what it observes.
We tested CFLab with the historical Wisconsin Diagnostic Breast Cancer dataset: frozen source data, a preselected measurement, training and held-out partitions, comparison controls, and preserved observation records.
What this supports: a reproducible software demonstration. What it does not support: a clinically validated diagnostic, a new biomarker, treatment, or cure.

The development checkout passed 1,964 internal automated tests across 183 isolated modules. These are engineering tests, not clinical validation.
Baseline comparisons, shuffled-label checks, and stated uncertainties help distinguish evidence from unsupported conclusions.
Try a safe, bounded CFLab-inspired experiment on this very website. Your browser measures actual HTTPS response times, returned file sizes, and SHA-256 content integrity for the published homepage and logo.
No login, private datasets, or simulated traffic figures. Each run provides six actual resource checks and an optional evidence download.
Visitor counts and host-wide uptime are not measurable from a visitor's browser. This is not the full CFLab desktop engine or a cryptocurrency proof-of-work test.
We're intentionally separating the public-facing site from the full scientific desktop instrument until the desktop workflow is polished and verified.
Explain Solithra and CFLab clearly, show verified work, and make the experience intuitive on mobile.
Improve onboarding, interface clarity, tooltips, and guided research without sacrificing repeatability.
Bring a curated, safe part of the approved desktop experience into the browser, after the desktop workflow is ready.
Not yet. We're validating the research platform and refining the desktop experience before any broader distribution.
Our goal is for researchers to use guided steps and helpful explanations, while still providing advanced tools to those who need them. The accessible workflow is being refined.
It's a way to examine an experiment's recorded observations. Lenses can support different graphs, transformations, or views while preserving the underlying evidence.
Yes. Our Live Website Observatory tests this site's own public resources from your browser. It is a limited demonstration of the CFLab workflow, not access to the CFLab desktop experiment engine or private research. A broader public Demo Lab is still planned for later.
No. It is a software-instrument demonstration on a historical public dataset. It does not establish clinical validity or the discovery of a treatment.
We believe research tools should let people challenge assumptions, test alternate perspectives, and keep evidence they can revisit. CFLab is our work toward a scientific instrument built around those principles.
